ShetlandPeerieMakkers, research participants extraordinaire for us at the Centre for Rural Creativity, have been in the Shetland News, Yarnmarket News and Vogue Knitting recently.
With a mixture of LEADER funding and private sponsorship, supplemented by crowdfunding, they’re moving from the pilot stage of their project towards making free hand knitting tuition available to primary school-age children across Shetland. Exciting times!
