Fran Lock on Almarks: An Anthology of Radical Poetry from Shetland

As the idea of in-person launches for books has come to feel outlandishly germy and we are all resigning ourselves to more confinement, it’s good to see Fran Lock’s review of Almarks, (edited by Jim Mainland and Mark Ryan Smith, Culture Matters): ‘Almark is the Shetland word for a straying sheep: one that breaks through fences into common ground…a sense of breaking through or in pervades the collected poems.’
